The World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA) is a global professional association for poultry veterinarians and other avian health professionals. WVPA is run by an elected Executive and holds a Global Congress every two years.
Its members come from all around the world and are in academia, research, government, industry and practice.

It is with profound sadness that we were informed on May 12, of the passing of our friend, colleague, Senior Vice President of WVPA, and its immediate former President, Dr Nigel Horrox.
We have appreciated Nigel’s input, insights, energy, and commitment to WVPA over many years, as well as his courage in his fight against disease. We keep in mind, appreciate, and are grateful for everything Nigel did for the development and recognition of WVPA in the poultry community worldwide.
We express our most sincere and deepest condolences to his loved ones and close relations.

• 6th WVPA Asia Meeting will be in Manilla, Philippines - October 17-18th 2024
